The scope of Sheraz’s practice involves the legal regulation of the production, distribution, and use of electricity and other forms of energy in both conventional power projects and renewable sources. He provides legal advice and representation to companies and organizations involved in the power and energy industry, such as utilities, energy developers, and government agencies.
He represents major stakeholders in the energy sector, including multinational and local companies, regulatory bodies and public authorities, the federal and provincial governments and individuals.
Sheraz has overseen several independent Power Projects (IPPs) and various forms of project financing, including built-operate-transfer (BOT) projects and build-own-operate-transfer (BOOT) projects in Pakistan and the Middle East.
